A Study on the Managerial Efficiency Analysis and Evaluation Process of the Edu-Tech Industry: Focusing on the KOSDAQ Market

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic spurred the digital transformation of the Edu-Tech industry, promoting the development of online learning platforms, AI-based personalized education, and data-driven learning technologies. This study analyzes the managerial efficiency of Korean Edu-Tech companies listed on the KOSDAQ market, focusing on the peak period of the pandemic. Using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), a non-parametric analytical method, the study evaluates the relative efficiency of firms, identifies the causes of inefficiency, and demonstrates a process for setting improvement targets. The findings provide implications for enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of Edu-Tech companies in the rapidly evolving digital education environment.
