Abstract

In an era where health disparities persist in underserved Muslim communities, integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with Islamic philanthropic mechanisms like Zakat and Waqf offers a transformative approach to health promotion. This study addresses the gap in applied health research by leveraging AI-driven technologies to enhance disease prevention, nutritional guidance, and mental health support, aligned with Islamic ethical principles of equity and compassion. Drawing from historical Islamic contributions to algorithms (e.g., al-Khwarizmi's legacy), it persuasively argues that AI can modernize charitable sectors to deliver personalized health interventions, fostering resilient communities and reducing chronic disease burdens. The primary aim is to develop and evaluate an AI framework for optimizing health resource allocation through Islamic philanthropy, with secondary objectives focusing on improving accessibility to preventive care and promoting lifestyle factors such as nutrition and physical activity.  Employing a mixed-methods design, this research combines qualitative analysis of Islamic texts and case studies from global Waqf health initiatives with quantitative modeling using AI algorithms (e.g., machine learning for predictive analytics). Data from charitable organizations in Qatar and beyond will be analyzed via Python-based tools like scikit-learn, ensuring ethical compliance with bioethical standards.  Anticipated outcomes include a 20–30% increase in health intervention efficiency, demonstrated through simulated models showing reduced healthcare costs and enhanced community engagement. This framework will yield actionable insights for policymakers, proving AI's superiority in scaling health promotion. By bridging AI innovation with Islamic values, this work compellingly demonstrates unprecedented potential for sustainable health advancements, urging immediate adoption to achieve global well-being equity.
