Book: “Al-Adab Al-Mufrad” by Al-Bukhari Motives for Classification and Creativity in Writing

Abstract

The main idea of the research lies in searching for the reasons for singling out Imam al-Bukhari as a special book on literature, and the reason for him choosing this word specifically and not others through historical tracing of it. The importance of the research lies in the lack of studies on the book of single literature, despite its importance and its right to study and shed light on it. The problem of the research is represented by In answering the question: Why did Imam Al-Bukhari single out the subject of literature in a separate book, even though he included it in the books of his book Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih? This research aims to explain the meaning of the word “Adab”, its historical stages, and the reasons for singling out Al-Bukhari as an independent author in it. The researcher used the inductive, analytical and deductive method. The most important results that the researcher arrived at is that Al-Bukhari’s book Al-Adab Al-Mufrad is considered a practical application of the hadiths contained in the book Al-Adab in The correct mosque that constitutes the theoretical framework for Islamic values and ethics. The researcher believes it is necessary to give it more care and attention by students of legal science in general and students of the Prophet’s hadith in particular.
